New Orleans is a mysteriously intoxicating town, and Jolie – a Parisian-inspired restaurant located a stone’s throw from the nightlife of the French Quarter and the hustle of the Art’s District – needed some furniture. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
“Jolie’s a new addition to the revitalization of the Warehouse District,” says Phoenix founder and owner, Brad Cavener. “They’re one of the pioneers moving into a new era of restaurateurs. It’s a very exciting time for restaurants and New Orleans right now.”

One of the most unique aspects of working on the Jolie project was partnering with Katy Curtis of 75 Degrees Design Studio.
“Katy Curtis was just great to work with,” says Cavener. “The style and design are truly inspiring. Less mainstream and more of a timeless European style.”
Project Manager, Gretchen Shearer agrees. “I love how Katy threw out the standards you would normally see in this type of installation and created a unique feel to really pull this space into itself. We created a lot of diverse, historical-styled furniture and dressed them with fashion-forward fabrics. The duality was super inspiring.”
For us, one thing that sets this project apart from others is the seating throughout the dining room. The mixed use of chair styles gives each table its own personality. The non-uniformity elevates the space with that perfect polish that makes you just wanna kick back with your go-cup and a lagniappe and say, “Mais yeah!”
